Last week, a team from the Perenco Foundation travelled to Kinshasa to meet the associations and entrepreneurs it supports every day, including:
- Bisou Bisou, microfinance institution ;
- Manitech, local peanut butter producer ;
- La Kinoise, Congolese coffee roaster ;
- Jeunes au Soleil, association dedicated to supporting vulnerable young people ;
- The European Institute for Cooperation and Development, a partner of the Foundation in the field of entrepreneurship training.
These sessions helped to strengthen ties with each of the stakeholders involved, discussing ongoing projects and better understanding the realities of the field.
Throughout the visit, we were impressed by the energy, ingenuity and commitment of these project leaders, who are fully invested in the economic and social development of their country.
The Perenco Foundation is proud to support these local initiatives, which actively contribute to the entrepreneurial dynamic in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
