For three months, the Centre Linguistique et de Formations Professionnelles (CLFP) in Moundou, Chad, welcomed 100 unemployed young people who had signed up for the programme following a call for applications launched by the centre, all with the same objective: to acquire skills to enhance their independence and build their professional future.
From June to September 2026, the participants received support in four disciplines: crafts, sewing, culinary arts and baking, and processing local produce. In addition to technical training, the programme also enabled them to develop their entrepreneurial skills.
Supported by the Bet Al Nadjah (BAN) association and fully funded by the Perenco Foundation, this programme is part of a shared commitment to promoting employment and supporting local entrepreneurship.
On 26 September, the 100 participants gathered for the closing ceremony, marking the end of the training programme and the start of a new chapter for each of them.
