In the third episode of our podcast “Paroles d’Impact: Au coeur des parcours”, we meet Eric Casinga, a young Congolese entrepreneur and founder of Recoplast, a start-up specialising in plastic waste recycling. Launched in 2020 in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the company now operates in Muanda following a decisive meeting with Perenco.
His story is that of a committed entrepreneur, but also of a man who had to show great determination to build his future.
In this episode, Eric tells us about his journey, the people who have changed his life, the founding of Recoplast, how the Perenco Foundation helped him scale up his business, and his determination to tackle three major challenges: public health, the fight against plastic pollution and environmental conservation.

In this episode, we take you to meet Jumeldie.
In 2025, the Perenco Foundation is establishing a three-year partnership – 2026-2028 – with ASI (Actions de Solidarité Internationale), an association committed to the professional integration of young street girls in Gabon and Congo.
Jumeldie, 19, is one of the program’s beneficiaries. Currently training in cooking, she is pursuing her dream of becoming a pastry chef.
Today, she tells us about her encounter with ASI, the decisive impact this support has had on her life, and her ambitions for the future.

Through these conversations, we offer a glimpse behind the scenes at the Perenco Foundation, to share the initiatives, the convictions and, above all, the extraordinary journeys of these incredible men and women.
In this first episode, we introduce you to Nathalie Perrodo, daughter of Hubert Perrodo (founder of Perenco) and President of the Foundation, who tells us about her goals, her work and the values that guide her actions.
